Pink/Green Tint On Screen

Pink or green tints appear on the screen and make it hard to see images.

The Screen Wires Might be Loose or Weak

This can be fixed by restarting the computer every time it happens, replacing the cable that connects the computer to the screen, or replacing the screen. Please reference our replacement guide for more information.

Touchscreen Not Responding

The device does not respond on touchscreen mode

Dirty Screen

Turn off the laptop and unplug the power cable. Gently wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth or a cotton ball to remove any dust.

The Screen Is Cracked

If the screen is visibly damaged, it will need to be replaced. Please reference our replacement guide for more information.

Asus LCD and Backlight Are Dimmed

The LCD screen and back-light become dim after powering up the laptop

Faulty Brightness Settings

Check the settings to make sure it is not a manual error. The device could be on power-saving mode or have a low brightness setting.

The Back Light And LCD Are Faulty

Replacing the back-light of the laptop would fix this problem. To replace the screen, please reference our replacement guide for more information.

The Device Does Not Connect to The Internet

The computer cannot access the internet when in range of wifi networks

Airplane Mode Is On

Switching off airplane mode will allow the device to access the wifi networks in the area.

The Wifi Network Requires a Password

If the laptop has trouble connecting to the wireless network while other computers can, or if it shows a yellow exclamation mark on top of the wifi symbol, the wifi may require a password. Ask the owner of the network for the password to the wifi.

The Network Cannot Get The Computer's IP Address

Sometimes the IP address must be manually entered into the wifi settings. Resetting the network settings will help the computer to send the IP address to the network.

Battery Does Not Hold a Charge

Laptop works only when the charger is plugged in

The Device Is Overheating

Overheating may be caused by a broken fan or by constant use. Overheating damages the battery and its ability to hold a charge. Allow the laptop to cool completely and use it for short periods of time.

The Battery Is Dead

Fully charge the battery. If it still does not work, fix this problem by replacing the battery. Please reference our replacement guide for more information.
