Nick, First: try disabling any power save and sleep feature in the System Settings. Second: initiate a First Aid scan on the hard drive. Third: Download any available updates from Apple. Fourth: While you are in Safe Mode close the lid and open it again and see if the problem replicates. If the problem does not replicate in Safe Mode it might be good to perform a fresh install after you back up your data. Wadski, The 3D technology alone is not something that can be replicated easily by a third-party manufacturer. In addition the adhesive is not the means in which the touch technology works. The adhesive simply holds the glass to the digitizer and frame. My personal recommendation is to take the phones to Apple and have them replace the screens. You can uncharge the client the added cost. In this way they will receive a genuine Apple sanctioned screen and home button, fully calibrated. Question: Do you plan on using the same home buttons from clients that bring them in for repair? Or do these screens that you purchase come with their own replacement buttons? If so, the sensor will fail and you will need to restore to the latest firmware from Apple. This will disable the sensor but will no longer display the Error 53 code. Hello. Sorry for the trouble you are experiencing. If you are not getting any power even when plugged in, I would recommend that you remove the battery cable cover and check the connection. Steps 18 and 19 should be consulted from the manual below. It is possible that even through the connector seems to be sitting properly, it may have come loose. Unseat the connector and then inspect it for any damage. Jonas, When replacing or repairing the lower assembly of the iPhone 5S there is a very thin and delicate cable that runs from the Home button and needs to be plugged into the connector just below the battery but right above the lightning connector assembly. This is the cable that brings power to the home button. Please check to make sure the connection is as solid as can possibly be. Plugging this in can be very tricky. It is possible that this cable is loose or possibly crimped/broken. I would love to know if this resolves the issue. Regards, Michael

Hello there. The thermal sensor connected to the hard drives in iMac's are there just to regulate the fan speed. In my experience removing those only cause the fan to run at high RPM's. Some can tolerate the noise more than others. Not sure how you feel about that. SSD's do not need to have a sensor cable connected to them in order to work. You can install the SSD in the iMac without any issues with the correct bracket. However you should be sure to check the requirements from Apple using the serial number to see what the maximum allowable disk size is. I hope this helps but if there is something I missed please let me know. Bottlenecking is only due to limitations in the BUS speed. You should see a greater increase in speed with an SSD that is much more noticeable than the standard drive. This is true as SSD's also improve read write speeds on much older MacBooks and iMac's. Hi Joseph, I've experienced this with my 2009 model recently. I explored all available options short of cutting holes into the bottom of the Macbook to channel more air through the vent. In this instance it turned out that Apple's thermal paste application was sloppy at best. This caused major overheating issues for me and would cause kernel panics whoever the Macbook reached temperatures that exceeded the maximum tolerable allowance. Fortunately the Macbook was designed to shutdown without causing damage. It was necessary for me to open up the Macbook and remove the board and the cables very gently and apply thermal paste to the processor and the GPU chip. Please see the guide below. Hey there "Facebook": What prompted you to rebuild your iPhone? Did you buy individual parts from eBay and then reassemble them? The NFC antenna is the top bezel itself, the top bezel has 2.4G(wifi and Bluetooth), cellular diversity, GPS and NFC. The main feed point for GPS, cellular and 2.4G is the screw boss under the plastic add-on antenna, with a "grounding bracket" attaching it to the bezel. The plastic antenna serves as the 5G wifi antenna. The NFC antenna feed point is the screw boss next to the camera and sleep/wake button, with a flex cable under the camera bracket serving as signal conductor. There is an additional feed point in the middle of the bracket, it does not connect to any wireless services, however it connects to a dynamic switch to tune the top bezel dynamically to serve different bands. The F-shaped flex cable on the back of the board is JUST a bridging cable, not an antenna in any way. It is possible that the grounding bracket found in step 29 of the repair guide below may be missing...

Hello Tharindumapa, Sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your iPhone 6. This device has a fingerprint sensor that is very sensitive to ANY work that might be performed to replace a broken screen. The cables\leads that run from the button and behind the screen can be damaged very easily. This damage can prevent your device from being able to use the sensor. Great care should be taken when replacing the screen. I recently had my device repaired, but was fortunate to be able to keep the original home button. This is important. Apple has designed the iPhone 6, 6S, and 6S Plus with a feature that can disable the fingerprint sensor and cause an Error 53 warning to appear when attempting to update to the latest firmware. Apple has recently corrected this by reissuing firmware that allows the user to use the home button but without the sensor. The good news is that if your device is not under warranty Apple will be able to replace your entire screen assembly for the same price as a third party...

Hi Jared, Glad you could bring the phone back to life. Ive had the same experience with an iPhone 5C. I would recommend that you try the following: 1. Remove the sim card 2. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings 3 . Find a different known working and activated sim card and place it in the sim card tray 4. If this ends up becoming a persistent issue in the future (which I hope it won't) I would recommend that you investigate the upper component cable.
