I have the same issue with mine, which seems to be due to a bad motor because the shaft still doesn’t spin well even after taking the blade assembly off the top. So, how to remove the motor for repair? The screw at the bottom removes the lower housing, under which is a metal bar. How best to remove that? I suspect the parts within are fragile, so I want to proceed carefully...
