Try doing a PRAM reset so that the MBP and the battery are on the same page. The old battery settings may still be in the PRAM. To do a PRAM reset, first shut down the laptop nd keep it connected to the AC adapter. Next, hold down the Command+Option+P+R keys while pressing and holding the power button. Wait until you hear the fanfare 3 times and release all the keys to fully power up.

Meer informatieThe battery itself may be OK but the regulator circuit of the battery may be bad. I have run into that issue in the past. Since you can start the MBP using the Magsafe adapter when the battery is disconnected indicates that the batteryis the source of the problem. Either it's circuitry is shorted out or the connector on the MB is shorted out.
Meer informatieIn addition to running to using the Disk Utility (which you can also run in recovery mode - hold down Command + R when powering on and wait until you see the Apple logo before releasing the keys) I wouls also suggest doing a PRAM reset as the the System Manager table may be a little corrupted. To do this, press the Option-Command-P-R and Power button and hold until you hear the boot fanfare 3 time and then release all the keys. Your MBA will rediscover the hardware and create a new boot table.

Make sure that you install the 10.12.1 update as well as I couldn't print to my Canon printer until the update. Do not update if you use Photoshop or Illustrator. Outlook 2016 has issues and so does Excel 2016, primarily with the Clipboard.

Meer informatieWhen did you last replace your battery? I would bet that a 6 year old laptop battery would not be very good by now. Even when connected with an AC adapter, the battery is still part of the power circuit.

Once it has booted, use disk utility to create a partition, close disk utility and choose restore from Time Machine (once you have attached your Time Machine Drive) You can also choose to reinstall a fresh OS if you'd like.
