Buy a new one for your model on ebay etc. Buy a tri wing screwdriver to remove the back screws as well. Remove the back, remove the reader and replace it with the new one.
I'd fit a new battery then try it if it's 5 or 6 years old. Also could need a new charge port if it does the same thing after a new battery. Older iphones can bootloop if the front camera ribbon develops a fault so it might be worth a try disconnecting it then trying to restore.
Take it to a repair shop, if you find a good one they can temporarily connect a screen and transfer the data for you. Or ask if they have an old working screen they can sell you.
Did you replace the screen with a genuine Samsung part? Aftermarket screens for Samsung are usually cheap garbage that either works badly or not at all. I know from experience. Genuine might be more expensive but worth it in the long run.
If it was cheap, and by the sounds of what happened it probably is, I'd bin it pal and buy a new one. Maybe better quality. You get what you pay for as they say. You could always try and solder the older one as a bit of practice.
