Since the 2017 MacBook Air has the same design as the older MBAs, the feet from iFixit will (most likely) fit. @dcoburn64 You would need to buy a SATA to USB cable to retrieve the data. Here is a tried-and-true cable on Amazon: StarTech.com SATA to USB 3.0 Cable - Amazon The HD from the Mac Mini is to be taken out as well (you can use this guide from iFixit: Mac Mini 2012 HD Replacement - iFixit). After extracting the HD from the Mini, you will plug the SATA to USB cable to the HD and connect the drive to a Macintosh computer. Otherwise, you will not be able to read the files on it due to Apple's hard drive format (assuming you haven't wiped the HD out). From there, you can go into Finder and rummage around in the drive (just don't go into the 'System' folder). You may need a code or password if the drive is encrypted. Let me know how it turns out! :)
