Thanks for the tip cohese.
Thanks for this guide, it looks very easy to follow. I am thinking about replacing my control panel, it works fine except for one annoying problem, the ‘Start’ button is working intermittently. I need to push Start 2 or 3 times before the washer starts. Has anyone seen this? I may just disassemble the washer and see if I can blow out any debris.
Yeah, I do too! @werewolf, comment back if you are able to fix yours.
@adrianvasq65716 Fantastic that you were able to replace the battery youself!
I have no idea. I would try to drill the rusted screws out with an electric drill.
@xravenx the 3D-printed battery holder is very cool. Jimjar
@davesandusky I am not sure what is wrong but I would start by making sure that you reconnected all of the wires properly, they are easy to mis-connect if you are not careful.
Thanks Thom. I had no idea, but that makes a lot of sense. Jim J
@John B, see @Ed Chou recent comments on adding a battery holder.
@Ed Chao - good comments on the security screw and the battery holder. That’s probably an easier fix then soldering in a battery with tabs. Jim J
