Any Inkjet printer needs frequent Printing at least a page in a day. Every different cartridge have different types of ink like Dye-Based Ink, Pigment-Based Ink,Solvent Ink Etc... this inks are made for fast drying. so if you refill the ink you are not getting as per what it was originally used by manufacturer. Now most of problems are because of inferior quality of ink in refill & Nozzles of cartridge are clogged /blocked because printer is not used frequent. some printers used Printer Head along with Cartridge & some printers having cartridge inbuilt head. so here you need to clean the Clogged Head, take a bowl of hot water dip the Head of the cartridge ( Only Head side) keep in bowl for 10 minutes then take out the Cartridge soak the Head using good quality tissue paper or cotton cloth ,repeat the process 2-3 times you can suck the ink from cartridge head (Take care Ink should not get into your mouth) or try to buy the Cartridge Head suction kit which works better. after Cleaning cartridge manually...

Since it has no sign of Life, check the charger adapter is working or not, if charger is Okay then check the Power or Charger LED indication does it indicates any light condition like blinking or Blink one time & goes off.this type of indication lead to Shorting on the Motherboard, if you are not pro-technical, i advice you to take it to the proper service technician , do not try "DIY" if fault is on component level or situation or chances for repair is worst.
