We have a first generation Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer set. Our problem is the bleach runs right into the drum when you put it in the dispenser. If the door is not closed, the bleach will run right onto the floor. We have never overfilled the dispensers. It doesn’t happen with liquid detergent or fabric softener (we use vinegar as our fabric softener).
