My washer model number is WTW4815EW0 (now 9 years old) which is the same as the original poster, Leah. I ordered the SHIFT ACTUATOR - P/N W10597177 - Check Amazon - Edgewater $33.65 and installed it easily. This video below shows how to do it for this machine and also how to recalibrate after installation. I have run the machine and it functions normally now. The final spin now occurs as it should to squeeze the excess water out of the clothes. THANKS to all who posted this solution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y__gdtsf...-A
Unless a car has a very high compression engine, it will run just fine and not hurt anything. High compression engines (or turbocharged or supercharged engines also) need gas with higher octane rating. Usually above 90. If your car normally uses high octane gas just drive it conservatively until you use up this tank and it will be fine. If your car normally uses lower octane gas (84 to 88) and you put higher octane in it there will be no change. It just costs more..
Many dryers have something called a "thermal fuse" which shuts off the power if the unit overheats. Check your dryer manual or seach online to find out where it is located. You can buy these at most appliance repair shops. They are usually easy to change. Just unplug the dryer before working on it. Also you should remove and vacuum out your dryer vent hose. If it is clogged with lint from years of use that could cause the dryer to overheat and blow the thermal fuse.
