Not a hardware issue. Aftermarket replacement screens need a little more room at the bottom, perhaps due to the way they are manufactured. It’s most notable on iPhone 11 and XR screen replacements. Depending on the quality of the replacement, closest to OEM would be a refurbished screen which should match almost exactly with the borders. However on the cheaper aftermarket screens the glass(black border) may not always be lined up on the actual display(LCD/OLED). Another possibility is that if you used an LCD screen replacement in an iPhone which would normally use an OLED(iPhone 10-14(OLEDs) omitting the XR, SE, and iPhone 11) Since the technology needs a border for the LCD cable to wrap around if I remember correctly. Nothing to really be worried about. Refurbished is the way to go for best quality, assuming it’s been refurbished correctly. Hope this helps! Best of luck!
Meer informatieI do not believe so. Based on past experiences if the front camera or earpiece speaker are replaced without moving that specific chip, then Face ID is disabled. You’d need the original earpiece speaker.
Meer informatieOther third party suppliers list it as compatible. It should work! Though I haven’t personally done the repair. The SE 2020 is very similar to the iPhone 8, the SE 2022 however is a bit different. I am aware the batteries are different for all three phones. The screens stay the same. Not sure about the port for the SE 2022 however. But for the SE 2020, I believe it should work since I’ve had a few repairs with them in the past.
Meer informatieHmm unfortunately it may sound like the screen was damaged in the process. The fortunate part is that they are pretty cheap and easily installable from some third party companies. When you say stripe is it like a bright line? A pixel or two wide? If that’s the case then definitely LCD or digitizer damage. Last suggestion is to clean the connectors lightly with alcohol if the screen is physically ok as I stated above(no visible lines or cracks). If this doesn’t work then a new screen should fix the issue. Best of luck!
Meer informatieWith an iPad this old it could very well be the battery, corrupted software, or as the tech said, a potential board issue. The best way I’m aware of to see if it’s any of these, is to test a new battery. (Also possible if there is some kind of third party software that can test it by plugging into the 30pin or lightning connector) A side note is that certain older iPads before being updated to the latest software(stuck on old software or have missed an update) are essentially bricked without access to the update servers, which are no longer signing updates that old. (They will ping the server and essentially freak out)But my suggestion is to have a repair shop try a battery or you yourself, but it may not be worth the trouble unfortunately. Best of luck!
Meer informatieYou should be able to remove the hardware. Personally, on iPhones a non working camera does not affect the functionality of the phone besides features using the camera. Should work but I personally haven’t done it on that model of phone. Look for an ifixit repair guide or ask a local repair shop to remove the cameras. Best of luck.
