hey there. is it FRP locked because its a preowned phone (as in someone handed it down to you, you bought it at a pawn shop?)

so, it looks like microsoft isn’t offering support for the 2013 (original generation) model anymore, the rep on the phone just said straight up “you can disassemble the console yourself, or you can get a repair store to do it, we don’t care anymore, even the staff at the service center don’t care anymore”. probably best to just replace the HDD, run the OSU file and let it do what it needs to, prevents eWaste.
