My Aquasmart (WL70T60C purchased in 2009) has been in storage for 5 years so its usage age is 6 years.

The problem it developed wasn’t listed here in the blog or in anyone’s comments which is why I thought I’d leave a comment for anyone else who ran into the error we did.

Our machine wouldn’t complete a spin cycle. We’d program it to do a spin only and each time we did it would revert to doing a rinse after a few minutes. Trying to get the water out of our laundry and it kept re-soaking it.

It had also been making some loud bangs and panicking more frequently asking us to rebalance the load inside but we thought nothing of it.

After reading James replacement guide and noticing that the (relative) age of our machine matched the description I took a gamble and ordered the rods and the rubber straps. When I opened it up I found that one of my rubber straps had snapped.

Replacing the parts was one of the easiest repair jobs I’ve ever done. End result was a success. Machine now works perfectly again! Thanks James!
