Chris There is definitely a memory circuit that should have 12v when the key is off to maintain your presets etc. If I remember correctly Mercedes from that period have European style fuses and I can't remember what other things might be on that same circuit that would now be not working if the fuse were blown possible the cigarette lighter? Are there any other electrical items not working in the car? I would check the fuse box first I recommend using a meter not a test light but that's your call and if all fuses are good pulling the radio is the next step again the meter will come in handy here checking the plug on the back of the radio for power and ground connections. If all that tests ok then the problem would be on the radio and fix or replace would be your two options at that point. Good luck

Fully Buffered DIMM (FB-DIMMs) can run hot and often require forced air cooling so you may have to add a fan and even look into heat sinks for the RAM if they don't already have them. As far as your CPU's I have read some things online that say that amount of current is possible it seems high to me but perhaps someone else could weigh in on that aspect of it?? Grabiel Its possible that the auto off feature may have been activated. What this does is shut down the printer after a set period of inactivity this is done mainly to save electricity. If you go into the setting menu on the printer look for either power settings or it may just have its own page on the menu for Auto-Off and see if that's enabled. If it is NOT enabled have you checked the usually suspects? maybe a lose power cord or even a faulty power strip if you are using one? When it happens what do you have to do to get it to turn back on just hit the power button? 16gb according to Apple but 32gb is no problem I would recommend using all identical sticks ie. same manufacturer/speed etc etc.

I have run 32gb for years in that machine With no issues.
