Fully immerse your phone in a container filled with rice to pull water away from the device. Let it sit for around 24hrs and then attempt to restart your device.
There is a product called Shoe Goo that I have used to bond two rubber components of a shoe together. Be sure to glue in a ventilated area. The vapors are strong.
Hi Gregory, I think there is a good chance that the cable will still work. Try leaving the device open after you install your new parts to avoid having to disassemble again if the screen ribbon cable has been critically damaged.
I would recommend buying a used, defective pair of Skullcandy Crusher Headphones to use as a parts donor for your pair. Check Ebay, Facebook, Craigslist, etc…
If these are anything like the other headphones I’ve disassembled there should be 3-6 screws hidden under the earpad foam. They will likely require a proprietary JBL bit. Here is a link to some triangle bits, one of which should be the correct size for your headphones. Hope this helps!
