from my experience i haven’t been able to get past that. Even with the HDD being faulty its tough to get the data off regardless. File vault will even stop you from manually doing a data transfer through terminal outside of the os. Its a pain.

you can go into disk part under command prompt and see if it gets listed as a disk. your best option if the hard drive is in good condition is to use a cloning software to another hard drive. Acronis is the software i use for cloning. The xbox hard drive its self usually pops up in my pc when i plug it in. Its formatted for ntfs And has alot of different partitions on it. You can also boot into xbox recovery with the new hard drive installed and try to install an offline xbox update from a flash drive. There is alot of youtube videos on it. Replacing a hard drive from the original xbox to the one s is the same operating system. so it should work out.

did you apply new thermal paste? That sounds like there is not enough on there.

i have the same speaker. And i have used it for years. I love the jbl extreme. What i did to mine to fix that issue is replace the battery. The power gets messed up once the battery gets depleted. They have them for sale on this website or amazon. Fixed the exact same issue for me.

Get Isopropyl alcohol and immediately take apart the computer and clean it with that to stop corrosion. Your going to have to take out the logic board and take apart as much as you can.

that looks like a bad screen. I would try reconnecting it again if you replaced it yourself. Try hard restarting it also.

The lines are a defective LCD thats how the light panels run in the back. Most likely needs a new screen sad to say.
