if you have the deck space and the proper wiring harness . Manufacturing will sometimes automatically install the “bells and whistles” wiring harness check out the wires first just to be sure it will work
Check the battery cable terminals. You should replace them when you get a new battery. All it takes is for one do them to be loose, cracked, or damaged in any way can cause problems. Also make sure the wires that are connected to the terminal aren't corroded and green that causes problems as well
If any of you guys have kids there is a good chance that something was inserted into the radio that doesn't belong. Also just like a laptop or keyboard the keys get sticky the same thing happens to the radio lots of dust and grime accumulate once every 2-3 months take it out and clean it
There should be an adjustable pulley. Or a tensioner pulley. Watch the RPM. it might drop to low to be able to keep the engine running. If that is the case, depending on the motor it could be possible to raise the throttle (idle). But be careful it is very easy to raise it to much! All you need is a very small adjustment
