if anyone else experiences this situation, I recommend buying some ladies tights cut the legs into 12” lengths tie the ends up after filling with cat litter and place all around the laptop ,taking the back panel off if possible. The cat litter is a great absorbent, don’t bother with the fairy tale rice method as its nowhere near as porous as the cat litter these socks also work great to stop the humidity on inside of car windscreens too. hope this helps someone.

firstly in the bottom left search bar type in device manager, go to the bottom option "universal serial bus controllers" select your items and try updating the drivers by right clicking on them

Im using a 1tb WD black SSD in my MacBook Pro 15” (mid2015) using an adaptor bought off amazon and is working absolutely fine…… Update (12/06/2018): the adaptor is Baoblaze 12+16pin to M.2 NGFF M-Key SSD Convert for Macbook Pro retina 2014 2015 MF839 MF840 and the ssd is WD Black WDS100T2X0C 1 TB High-Performance NVMe Internal SSD Update (12/06/2018): sorry for the late reply here’s a screenshot
