I like raw + real photos, especially in black and white. I also love writing letters—literal letters—that make up words, also known as: handlettering or calligraphy!
If I am not at home or at work, I am most likely either at home listening to an LP or driving somewhere + exploring, learning. I love spontaneous trips: near or far. One of my favorite adventures was exploring this abandoned church in Gary, Indiana [not the safest place in America, but definitely worth it! / also pictured on the right]
What we are living is the true-life version of a "choose your own adventure" book—and we are given the privilege + responsibility of forging our own way. Sylvia Plath speaks of choosing our destiny like plucking figs from a tree—endless in options and opportunity, waiting, and ready for the taking—weighted with the knowledge that choosing one fig may mean losing the rest. It's a dilemma that can be both tantalizing, arduous, paralyzing, but there is some mourning and some reveling either way.
I love tea, reading, getting tattoos, taking photos, gaming, watching foreign films, long walks [just not on the beach, I hate sand], groups no larger than four [including myself], traveling, a good hearty laugh, movies, animals + living my life moment by moment.

After doing some a light Google search, I was able to locate on Kurio’s Support page on how to complete a hard reset for the Kurio 7s. I’ve gone ahead and copied & pasted what they mention '''here''' on their support page on the Hard Reset. In order to reset to factory settings, please follow these instructions : "- Power off machine. - Hold down + first and then POWER for about 10 seconds, release both buttons once Kurio screen loads . - When you get the open Android picture, press + to enter menu, use - to move down to "wipe data / factory reset" and press POWER again to choose. - Next press - to choose "YES" and press POWER to start reset. - Check for yellow text Formatting /data, formatting cache, Data wipe complete. - Choose reboot system now and press POWER to complete process. NOTE: This will erase data from your Kurio's internal storage such as Accounts, System settings and Downloaded apps. But music, pictures, and other user data won't be erased. Heeft geantwoord op: My phone has a black screen and wont turn onHi there! Is it recognizable in iTunes when you plug it in to your computer? If you haven’t already, I’d try performing a DFU Restore. A DFU restore will update the OS, and give us a clean slate to further troubleshoot the device. If that doesn’t help, I would then inspect the digitizer + LCD cables for damage as those are fragile. Definitely be careful if you do end up opening up the device. Once you’ve got it opened, cleaning the contacts gently with isopropyl alcohol/rubbing alcohol/surgical spirits [a q-tip or bristled brush will do the trick]. Otherwise, replacing the LCD screen + digitizer might be the next step. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Otherwise, would you mind providing a link to a series of photos or a video of the issue that is happening once you have inserted the film into the camera?
Heeft geantwoord op: Weird grey lines on starting screen, in system blue lines.Hi there! I would suggest the following: (1) Disconnect/remove the display. (2) Inspect the display ribbon cables for any pinches or tears and inspect the connections and contacts on the logic board for any damaged pins. (3) Use a Q-tip dipped in Isopropyl/Rubbing Alcohol to clear out any debris in the connections and contacts. (4) Re-secure the display connections and reseat the display. (5) With the new screen installed, power off the device and let it sit untouched for at least 6 hours. If this doesn’t help, it is possible that some sort of damage did happen during the repair or pins on the connections on the display or it could simply be a bad display. Hope you are able to figure it out though!
Heeft geantwoord op: Why my front camera icon disappeared?Hi Alby, I was able to do a little research and it appears that you are not the only person with this problem! According to a question asked on the Google Forum, one of their experts suggest two things: 1) "Try to clear the cache and data of the Camera app. Some have reported this solved some issues they had with the Camera app." 2) For those of you who haven't requested a new device could you boot in safe mode to see if the problem persists. Ensure your device's screen is on, then press & hold the Power button. Touch & hold the Power off option in the dialog box. Touch OK in the following dialog to start safe mode. I hope this helps!
