For anyone that needs the answer, it actually ended up being a vacuum leak. The clean air intake hose had a big crack in it, which wasn't visible until I started messing with it. If you're having a similar issue, start there.
Update: I've replaced the switch to no avail. The culprit was a bad ground above the drivers side kick panel. One of the wires had broken lose and I didn't notice it until I followed a wiring diagram and saw one wire was missing. Found it shoved up into the wire sleeve. So, for anybody facing a similar issue, before you jump to replacing parts, double check all your grounds are intact. That solved my issue immediately.
Chances are its from apples terrible design of having ALL the hot air from the cpu and gpu blowing on the hinge glue. Not your fault. Put some new epoxy and it should be fine
If you remove the back glass again will it power on? It is plausible that your adhesive may have got onto the motherboard and is shorting something? although not many adhesives are conductive.
You will need to replace the entire LCD assembly. You have cracker the main LCD under the glass. https://www.amazon.ca/Eaglestar-Digitizer-Assembly-Faceplate-5-Silver/dp/B0755D8BW3/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&...-6&keywords=lg+aristo+lcd
