You have probably fixed this by now (or thrown the device out) but if you can get an OTA cable and connect a wireless keyboard and mouse (logitich etc) you should be able to use these to log in and re-run the calibration tool.
Hi this sounds like a GPU issue, usually you would need to send this off to get it repaired, however it's probably a replacement motherboard that would be fitted to fix this unless you can find somewhere that can re-flow the GPU chip.
