I've got a Mac Mini here, which boots to a white screen, I have resetted every thing as recommended by apple to no avail....

Have tried all that a couple of times and nothing worked. It threw up and error code once when asked about it from apple support they confirmed that its a GPU issue. Thanks for your reply.

It depends, if there is no damage to the logic board, then it can be repaired by a qualified technician.

Seems like its got either a faulty magnetron or air blower. Its not worth repairing, best to get a new one.

Error 1 is usually caused due to a problem in hardware, if your phone worked fine before the update process heating the phone is the only permanent solution. In some rare cases BGA soldering dries up or cracks if your device had survived a fall. To do this you need to open up the phone, remove the motherboard and heat it up using a rework station, this is a very risky process, you should heat it to an extent where you don't melt the BGA completely but enough to reattach the connection to the board. If you heat it too much you you will melt the BGA completely and will have a dead device. I have tried this and resurrected many iPhones with error 1. Its best you don't do this your self instead take it to technician.

Got to acer drivers and manual section and find your acer laptop through its model number and download the bios for your laptop. when you open the folder you downloaded there will be a folder named "dos" open it and copy the files "FLASHIT" and the file with either a ".bin " or ".fn" extension, for example "P4LJ0112.bin" to a flash drive formatted in either FAT or FAT32 extension. *Plug your laptop to a power source (1) plug in the flash drive with the files in it to the laptop (2) Press and hold the FN + ESC keys and press the power on button (3) when the laptop powers on press and hold the FN + ESC keys for 7 seconds and let it go (4) The Power button will start to flash leave it as it, will take about 10-20 minutes (5) If the laptop turns it self off after, remove the flash drive and power it on. You should have your laptop up and running again.
