When disconnecting the battery there are tiny components by the battery. Have someone who microsolders check near the connection. Also when they are checking near the connection they may be able to rule out the charging chip commonly known as the u2 IC
The touch sensor isn’t sitting well, in some repairs loosen the battery plate and ensure it is all the way to the opposite direction of the sensor. Also some say to move the sensor down a smidge? To ensure it fits. Also if there is the foam on top of the connectors to remove it so it has more room.
Can you microsolder? This is a lengthy process. What exactly did you “mess” up on the board? If you need data there are other avenues depending on what is wrong.
There is an inter connected antenna on the underside of the board that may need to be reseated. Unless you are extremely diligent with the screw and all of the small parts I would suggest getting some help with the repair. If this doesn’t solve the issue there is also microsoldering options but we can cross the bridge on that after the antenna is checked.
You replaced the front glass, did you disconnect the battery before the repair? Any damage to the battery socket, are your cables seated properly within the frame, a pinched or shorted cable has been know to happen when closing the phone.
