Thanks, I didn’t know about the sliding clips. When trying to put my keys back, I pushed them down instead of sliding them making the clips bend inwards. This made my key sit flush with the casing: When I read your post, I took them back out and unbend the clips with a knife so that I could slide them into place. Now they’re more or less OK. So thanks!
After ordering a third replacement screen (this time from ifixit), everything worked. The "black border" I was talking about was actually part of the background image. Stupid me :p
I just fixed a GTX460 by putting it in the oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes. Used the trick with the scrunched up balls of aluminium-foil and it worked! Amazing. Before, I had these horizontal white lines all over the screen. Removed the plastic with the fan and covered up the plastic connections with aluminium-foil.
I just replaced the daughterboard rev 0.7 with a rev 0.8 and everything works perfectly! Just make sure the black antenna cable is tucked away behind the plastic border. Else it might come loose when you snap the daughterboard in place. Phone was a Galaxy S5 Neo.
