Turns out that it was the optical image stabilizer. A quick camera replacement fixed the issue.

After searching online, I was led to check a smd fuse under the heat shield between SC card reader and the camera. There is a brown component by itself. That is the fuse. It is supposedly a .5A fuse, but I'm having trouble resourcing that part. Anyone have a good source for parts like these?
