Rivian R1T Repair

The R1T is Rivian's all-electric, battery-powered, light-duty pickup truck unveiled in May of 2018. The truck was originally under the working name of A1T but was rebranded in November of the same year.

• Powertrains: The R1T comes standard with all-wheel drive and offers several motor configurations:
  • Dual-Motor: The standard version offers 533 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque. A Performance Dual-Motor tune is also available, increasing output to 665 horsepower and 829 lb-ft of torque.
  • Tri-Motor: This option adds a second rear motor for a combined 850 horsepower and 1,103 lb-ft of torque.
  • Quad-Motor: For maximum performance, this configuration provides 1,025 horsepower and 1,198 lb-ft of torque.
• Acceleration: The R1T can achieve 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.5 seconds in the Quad-Motor configuration.
• Range and batteries: The R1T offers three battery options, with range estimates for the 2025 model varying based on motor configuration and tire choice:
  • Standard (lithium iron phosphate): 258 miles EPA-estimated range.
  • Large: 330 miles EPA-estimated range.
  • Max: Up to 420 miles EPA-estimated range.
• Towing and payload: The R1T is a capable hauler, with a maximum towing capacity of 11,000 pounds and a payload capacity of up to 1,764 pounds when properly equipped.
• Off-road readiness: The truck features a standard adjustable air suspension, which can raise ground clearance from 7.9 to 14.4 inches. It is also designed to traverse water up to 43.1 inches deep

• Gear Tunnel: A 65-inch-long storage compartment running the width of the vehicle, located between the cab and the bed. It provides 11.6 cubic feet of lockable storage.
• Frunk: An 11 cubic-foot front trunk offers additional weatherproof storage.
• In-bed storage: The truck bed includes a liftable floor section with a storage bin underneath.
• Integrated air compressor: A built-in air compressor located in the cargo bed makes inflating tires or other gear easy.
• Built-in accessories: Standard equipment includes a rechargeable flashlight in the driver's door and a removable Bluetooth speaker.
• Infotainment: The cabin is centered around a large 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. While it includes extensive features, it does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto

• The R1T faces competition in the electric truck market from several rivals:
  • Ford F-150 Lightning: The Lightning is less expensive and offers a familiar feel, but generally less power and off-road capability than the R1T.
  • Tesla Cybertruck: The Cybertruck offers similar high performance but a more polarizing design.
  • Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV: These are also direct competitors in the growing electric pickup segment.
