Mijn oplossing
I purchased Samsung 840 EVO 500 GB SSD. Its very light, compact, and does not generate any heat. The instructions are very clear and I had no trouble at all. The drive tray is very fragile and I was kind of nervous inserting rubber grommets into the holes and worrying that it might snap in half. So I took more time and do it slowly and used a small flat blade screwdriver to maneuver the grommets into position. Also it was a little difficult trying to lift up the IR sensor cable so I used the very small screwdriver to gently lift the wires up. I had to research a little how to install Mavericks OS X on SSD and transfer in my applications, preferences et al from old drive. Some applications need to be reconfigured. The end result is fantastic! It made a huge difference!
Mijn advies
It might be a good idea to have spare drive tray just in case it snaps in half while inserting grommets. Take time and be very patient!
