iMac just wont start - completely dead

After a complete shut-down of the computer when I moved it, it just wouldn't start, no matter how many and long pushes on the start button.

Inspired of my last repair (attempt) when filling our MacBook Air with coffee, I Goggled my problem and found the solution on your site. On iFixit I just followed the instruction on how to open the iMac and disconnected the Power Supply board. Since I live in Sweden delivery of the item would take a few days. For some reasons I did not order the part but the computer sat disassembled a few days. I made an new attempt to start it up - and it did without problem. It had fixed itself somehow.

However the same thing happened after another complete shut-down a couple of weeks later. So now a quick order of the Power supply and FedEx delivery three days later, and maximum of ten minutes work changing the board did the job!

Lets hope now it will continue running!

For anyone that in normally handy - Don't de afraid to try your own repair, it is actually quite fun to do your own repair and feels good afterwards!

And saves a lot of money too.
