MB Pro 15" - Left Fan Replacement - A1211 Model

Mijn probleem

Started making terrible noise. My assumption is that the bearing inside of the fan went out. Decided to purchase a new fan (exact same model that was already in the computer).

Mijn oplossing

Repair went smoothly. I had actually taken the machine apart about 5 times previously to try and figure out officially what the noise was coming from.

Fan repair was very easy with the step by step procedures that iFixit provided.

Mijn advies

Even though the price may seem a little high, it is a very small price to pay. I've had my computer since 2006 and didn't have to replace anything until January of 2012. Mac's are solid, but things still break. I felt that after having my computer that long, $50 was much cheaper than having to buy a new machine. Thankful I don't have a dell - we all know how that would have ended up.
