Mijn probleem

For many months my daughter was living with a diagonal crack all the way across her iPhone 5 until the other day she dropped it and the entire screen shattered. We put packing tape over the screen to keep her from cutting her fingers and ordered an new screen.

Mijn oplossing

I received the replacement screen earlier than I thought I would (thank you ifixit shipping dept) and swiped my daughters phone to make a surprise repair. This was my second time doing this repair and it went well and without any problems.

Mijn advies

BUY the display assembly with the home button and front camera it is well WORTH the little extra price. The first time I did this repair I purchased the display assembly without the Home button or Front camera to save the few extra dollars. I am a very techie guy and have worked with electronics for over 25 years and I thought I would save my self some money and just do the little extra work. It is not complicated to change out the home button or camera but it is tedious. With the second purchase including the home button and camera already installed it cut my install time in half.
