Display separation prevention

  • In the following steps you will be pulling the display up out of the phone body. The display is composed of a glass screen and a plastic bezel with metal clips.

  • Regardless of the tool you use, you need to be sure you pull up the entire display.

  • If the glass begins to separate from the plastic, as shown in the first image, slide a plastic opening tool between the plastic frame and the metal phone body to pry the metal clips out of the case.

  • If you are reassembling a phone with a separated display bezel, you may want to place a thin strip of adhesive between the plastic bezel and the glass to keep the phone closed.

Het voorkomen dat het scherm splijt

In de volgende stappen zul je de schermmodule uit de telefoon proberen te trekken. Deze bestaat uit een glazen scherm en een plastic frame met metalen klemmen.

Ongeacht welke tool je gebruikt, zul je de complete schermmodule uit de telefoon moeten krijgen.

Als het glazen scherm los begint te komen van het plasticen frame, zoals je op de eerste foto kunt zien, schuif je een plastic openingstool tussen het plastic frame en de metalen telefoon om de metalen klemmen uit de behuizing te klikken.

Als je je telefoon weer in elkaar probeert te zetten met een gescheiden schermframe, kan het handig zijn om een dunne strip lijm aan te brengen tussen het plastic frame en het glazen scherm om er zo voor te zorgen dat de telefoon gesloten blijft.
