Remove the scroll wheel assembly

  • Use the point of a spudger to push on alternating sides of the plastic latch on the scroll wheel board connector.

  • You should feel the latch pop into the unlocked position. Don't push too far, or the latch may come completely off the connector.

  • Use tweezers to gently pull the cable straight out of its socket.

  • The cable should come out easily. If you feel any resistance, push the latch out a little more and try again.

Verwijder de muiswielmodule

Gebruik de punt van je spudger om beide zijkanten van de aansluiting van de muiswielmodule uit het contact op de printplaat te duwen.

Als het goed is voel je de lip ontgrendelen. Duw de lip echter niet te ver, want dan kan die van de aansluiting loskomen.

Gebruik een pincet om de kabel in een rechte beweging uit het contact te trekken.

De kabel zou gemakkelijk los moeten komen. Als je op weerstand stuit, duw je de lip iets verder en probeer je het nog eens.
