Remove the battery

  • Insert an opening pick in to the gap between the battery housing and the battery at the side opposite to the battery cable.

  • Slide the opening pick under the battery and lift up to pry the battery off of its housing.

  • Make sure you push underneath the battery and not into it. Take care not to puncture or bend the battery with your tool—a punctured or bent battery may leak dangerous chemicals or cause a thermal event.

  • In case you have trouble prying up the battery with an opening pick, you can try to use a spudger instead as seen in this picture. When working with a spudger take extra care not to bend the battery.

  • If you encounter significant resistance, pause and heat the adhesive further.

  • Remove the battery.

  • Do not reuse the battery after it has been removed, as doing so is a potential safety hazard. Replace it with a new battery.

  • It is likely you can reuse the old adhesive with the new battery. If you wish to replace the adhesive instead, remove the old adhesive and wipe away any adhesive residue with a lint-free cloth and high-concentration isopropyl alcohol.

Akku entfernen

Setze ein Plektrum in den Spalt zwischen dem Akku und dem Akkufach gegenüber vom Akkukabel ein.

Schiebe das Plektrum unter den Akku und heble ihn nach oben aus dem Akkufach heraus.

Achte daruf, dass du das Plektrum unter den Akku schiebst und nicht in den Akku hinein. Der Akku darf nicht angestochen oder verformt werden. Aus einem angestochenen oder verformten Akku können gefährliche Chemikalien austreten oder er kann in Brand geraten.

Wenn du den Akku nicht gut mit dem Plektrum hochebeln kannst, dann versuche es mit einem Spudger, so wie in diesem Bild gezeigt. Passe mit dem Spudger besonders gut auf, der Akku darf nicht verbogen werden.

Wenn sich der Akku nicht leicht lösen lässt, dann halte an und erwärme den Kleber nochmals.

Entferne den Akku.

Verwende einen einmal ausgebauten Akku nicht mehr, das ist ein Sicherheitsrisiko. Baue einen neuen ein.

Wahrscheinlich kannst du den alten Akkukleber verwenden, um den neuen Akku zu befestigen. Wenn du lieber neuen Kleber benutzen willst, dann entferne die alten Kleberreste und wische sie mit einem fusselfreien Tuch mit hochkonzentrierten Isopropylalkohol weg.
