Twist counter-clockwise very snug. It only moves about 1/4 of an inch - the second picture shows the slide lock slots.

There are two rubber plugs covering the screws that you need to get out… Not hard.

Case opens pretty easy but you can see there are two tabs toward the back of the case … if it sticks, a simple pinch might help you open it up.
