Inleiding

Replacement guide for the battery on a Kindle Fire HDX 7” tablet.

The motherboard will have to come out first before the battery can be removed. A strong adhesive is used to glue in the battery and requires slow prying with adhesive remover.

  16. Apply a small amount of adhesive remover (approximately 1 ml) evenly along the elevated edge of the battery cell.

  19. Remove the battery from the mid-frame.

These instructions look great, but I can’t get those six pink 3mm T3 Torx screws from the back case off. In fact, I believe I’ve stripped them pretty badly. Any ideas? Super glue my screwdriver to them?
