Stap 1 Remove mouse feet



• Only 3 of total 4 mouse feet must be removed for loosing the screws
• Maybe heat the mouse feet to soften the adhesive for example with a hairdryer
• Slide an opening pick under both the mouse feet and the adhesive underneath it.
• If everything works well you can peel of the mouse feet with the adhesive and can reuse it later

Stap 2 Remove screws

• Remove the three Phillips screws holding the two halves of the mouse together.
• Under the fourth mouse feet at the top left there is no screw.

Stap 3 Upper and lower part
• The lower part has on the left side a plastic clip.
• Hold the lower part in place and lift the upper part of the mouse some millimeters.
• The two parts are now separated. Only the flat ribbon calbe holds both together.
• Lay the upper part right next to the lower part on the table.
• A flat ribbon calbe connects the upper and the lower part. Do not separate both parts too far from each other.

Stap 4 flat ribon cable disconnect
• Lift with the flat side of a spudger the connector from the left and right side until you can easy unplug.
• Unplug the connector.

Stap 5 Click upper part - find plastic clips
• Search for the two plastic clips of the click upper part. The first one you can see easily. The second one is hidden under the board.

Stap 6 Click upper part - plastic clip 1
• Release the first plastic clip with your fingernail for example. Press the click upper part downwards.
• The plastic clip must be completely released. The plastic clip must touch the sliding face of the other side.
• There should be a visible one-sided gap between upper and lower part. An opening pick should fit in the gap.

Stap 7 Click upper part - plastic clip 2
• Most difficult part of the disassembly.
• Use a thin object such as a spudger or a wooden stick to release the second plastic clip.
• You have to move the stick under the flat ribbon cable and under the board until it reaches the plastic clip.
• After releasing the second plastic clip the gap between the click upper part and the whole upper part can be increased. You can the remove the whole click upper part.
