Push the slider until the battery is released from its socket.

Lift the battery using your fingers.
It may be necessary to use a plastic opening tool.

Stap 3 CPU Cooler

First begin by placing the laptop on a hard flat surface.
Remove the nine 3 mm screws that secure the back panel using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Stap 4

Once the cover has been removed, locate the CPU Cooler to begin the replacement.

Stap 5

Remove the six 7 mm screws using a Phillips #1 and then use the pry tool to unplug the fan before removing the CPU Cooler.
Screws 1 through 4 are integrated into the cooler and will come all the way out.
