You don't need to use screwdrivers, flat edges or any TOOL to open the back panel. Just pull downward and up firmly and the outer most surface will lift up.

Firmly place your fingers along the recessed edge, and pull down while lifting upwards.

At this point you can easily pull the panel away. No screw drivers, no spudgers, no 'clips' broken.
