Background
The Lenovo ThinkPad T15 and the T series aimed to be efficient devices for work while maintaining portability. Originally made by IBM in 2000, then bought by Lenovo 4 years later. The ThinkPad T15 was released in 2020, marking a change in using the screen size as the name of the device and also the CPU that was manufactured. The last model involving the T15 name was used by the T15p Gen 3.
This device's major features include a 10th-gen Intel i5/i7, supporting storage from 128 gigabytes to 2 terabyte SSDs, and a maximum of 40/48 GB DDR4 memory. This device also supports resolutions 1080p (FHD) and 4K (UHD), with IPS screens, meaning the screen can be seen from wider angles and the screens are anti-glare. Noting that some models for security would have some models include a fingerprint and smart card readers. Finally, the device has a battery with rapid charge lasting from 10.81 hours to 15.26 hours.

Identification
General Identification of this device may include:
- The red nub in the middle of the keyboard
- The inclusion of the num pad on the right side
- The ThinkPad name back of the screen and below the keyboard
The color of this device would be black for all models and grey hinges on the screen of the device. The model number will be seen on the back of the left side of the device. The T15 name can be seen closely on the right side view of the device under the screen. Another thing is to find out whether the device is gen 1 or gen 2 and whether a T15g is on the bottom of the device seen above the left stand of the device.
A better example can be seen in this video by LaptopMedia.
One thing to note about the differences with other types of T15, including the T15g and T15p, is that when compared (T15 and T15p compared), the T15 has vents on the right side of the device while the T15p has vents on the left side of the device.
