Background and Identification

The LG K series is a line of Android smartphones designed and produced by LG Electronics, Inc. LG is a South Korean electronics company that sells devices worldwide. LG produces consumer electronics as well as home appliances. The K Series launched in January 2016 with the K10, K7, and K4. The K8 was released in February 2016 and the K3 debuted in August 2016. The K series continued through 2020 with over twenty different models.

In February 2020, the LG K Series smartphones were released with four rear cameras: wide-angle, HD, macro lens, and depth sensor. The top-of-the-line K61 smartphone features a 48-megapixel main lens, which is the highest resolution camera ever marketed on an LG smartphone. All three phones released in 2020 include large 6.5-inch displays.

LG K Series smartphones are carried by ACG, AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, LRA, Metro by T-Mobile, Republic Wireless, Spectrum, Sprint, T-Mobile, Unlocked, US Cellular, Verizon, Virgin Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile.

LG smartphones can be identified by the LG logo, which depicts the letters “L” and “G” inside of a circle, which loosely depicts the human face. Many K Series phones also include the LG logo on their front bottom bezel. Some K Series smartphones include their name, such as “K10” in the bottom portion of their rear covers.
