Durofix RV332

The Durofix RV332 is a cordless electric screwdriver. The purpose of the RV332 is to provide an easier alternative to manually tightening screws by hand. By pressing down on the yellow trigger, you can spin the motor inside. The device has a black chuck on the front which is powered by the motor. You can use a variety of different screwdriver bits in this chuck for whatever type of screw you have.

The RV332 has a rechargeable battery inside its shell. Once it is used up, you can charge the battery with a 6 volt, 300 mA charger. Replacement chargers for this model are plentiful online, but you can also get a generic type with the specifications shown below. Most of Durofix’s newer products feature a removable battery, but the battery in this model is connected via soldered wires. If you can use a soldering iron (even at a pretty basic level) you can install a replacement battery. Look online for a lithium-ion battery with a voltage of 3.7 V in the 18650 form factor.

You can identify this model by the Durofix logo on the side of the device. On the other side, the model number “RV332” is printed on a sticker.
