The laptop can be identified by a printed model name (E.g F540M) on a sticker typically on the bottom side of the laptop.

The exact model can also be identified by pressing the Windows + R keys, typing msinfo32, and clicking “OK.” The model name will appear under “System Model.” It is also possible to identify the model by restarting the laptop and pressing the F2 key during boot to enter the BIOS utility. Once there, press the F7 key. Click the “Advanced” tab and then click “ASUS EZ Flash 3 Utility.” The model name can be found there.

The laptop model can also be found by matching a physical description. All models come with a 15.6-inch display (16:9 aspect ratio: 13.6" width x 7.65" height). It will have a A full-sized chiclet keyboard with a numeric keypad on the right side, as well as a touchpad.
