Why won't the computer turn on
When I press the button to turn on the computer, the light blinks 9 times and the computer remains off.

We might need more information. Which light is blinking? What color is it? Are all the blinks the same length, or are there short blinks and long blinks? If that's the case, how many of each kind of blinks are there?

The light on the switch that turns on the computer is not blinking. The white light on the bottom left of the computer base is blinking. It blinks 8 times and the 9th time is very short.

The blinking is usually a code to indicate the issue. Can you post the motherboard model and manufacturer?
