Why is my PowerBook g4 screen white?
I have a powerpook g4 with a broken screen. I replaced it, but I have a white screen (no display). I plugged in an external screen and it came great.

If your machine works as it should on an external monitor then the video problem on the internal monitor should be related to the LCD panel or the LVDS cable.

Are you sure thenew display was good? Where did it come from?

looks like some very low prices. Problem s that we don't know if it works

Looks like a LVDS (video) cable issue. Double check the connections to the main board and to the LCD panel.
