display setting for I-pod to time of day
When using the I-pod, how do I get the display to show the time of day instead of the title of the song.

Try pressing the SCRL DISP button to toggle between display modes. With the radio turned off, press and hold the SCRL DISP button to select clock priority. The owner's manual describes these features but it's not very clear and not very intuitive. It's possible the 255U doesn't allow for clock display when playing the USB input - nothing you can do about that unfortunately.
