I just installed a new battery into my iphone 11. It booted correctly, but wont charge anymore. I tried the old battery too and it didn‘t charge either. What did I break? I depend on you guys🥲

Did you dig into the motherboard when you unplugged the battery? if the phone was charging before you replaced the battery my bet would be that you knocked off some components from the motherboard.

No I don't think so, I did it like the last 20 times. Just following the normal instructions.
Is it worth buying a new charging port for example? Or what would you do, if there is a problem with the motherboard?
The connection from the battery to the motherboard is used for both running the phone, and for charging the battery. if you change the battery and the phone runs, the battery itself is not the problem. what remains is either a problem on the motherboard or on the charging flex. Think about every screw you had to take out, or connector you had to pry, look for damage in any location you used a tool (metal or plastic). Trying a new charging flex is probably your cheapest troubleshooting option. But if you find any damage one the motherboard before that, don't bother.
