won't charge and charge port isn't problem
Purchased charge port, disassembled using your video to point of temp testing new charge port before going further. no light even after checking connections, PS, cords multiple times. Whats next?
Is dit een goede vraag?
@frankhenry just out of curiosity, you have changed the battery?

Not yet. The charge port was fixed twice by Fix my Oculas, and I thought it was the same problem. So I bought a charge port and got to the point that I could test it without further disassembly and ended up with the same results. No light. So now I own a spare charge port! The headsets 2-3 yrs old so I guess the battery could be the problem, but I hate to start guessing. It gets expensive. Wondered what the next logical step is. Other than buying a 3, which of course is what my grandson prefers.

@frankhenry yes but from what I've read the 3 is just marginally better than the 2 :-) Anyhow, I would try the battery. You have checked the port and have no signal, so either its the battery or (and you might as well buy a 3) the circuit board.

And I'm sure the 3 has issues of it's own. Grandsons 13. When he comes up with 1/2 the money I'll consider it. I think you're right though. The battery makes sense given the age. And it's only $30. Thanks for the input!
