Will FaceID work after screen change or not?

Hi

I've tried to find this information but since Iphone 13 is an older model all threads are also old.

I'm looking to replace my screen with a 3rd party option.

As I understand it, this initially broke the FaceID function, but after an iOS update to 15.2 this changed and it was possible to change screen again.

But I also read threads that says that you still have to move the chip over from the old screen to the new to get FaceID and TrueTone to work.

I'm hoping that someone have the time to give me an up-to-date answer on this before I press the buy button.
