MacBook no powering up, charger stuck on green.

My macbook pro is not powering up and charger is stuck on green. I did just replace the battery, magsafe dc in port and have a brand new charger.

However, the macbook wont start (boot up) or make any sign of life beyond charger magsafe light been green. It will stay green and after a while the battery will become warm, but not show amber light.

Does not boot up on charger (battery disconnected) or both (charger and battery conected).

Battery status indicator shows 3 dots but only works when the charger is connected if i disconnect the charger it wont work, despite being a new battery (iFixit brand).

SMC Reset has not worked either.

Any solutions, suggestions or tips are very much appreciated.

There is a set of MOSFETs that control the pathways power enters and where it goes. It sound like the logic board has become damaged. What was the status of the system before you started repairing it? Was it working at all.

It was working with the original battery (11 year old), so the system started prompting me to change the battery. And one day battery discharged and it would not charge or start again. So i bought the replacement battery and it didn’t work. So i also changed the magsafe dc port but to no avail.

Its completely dead, does not show signs of life beyond the green charger light. (Which i also had bought brand new).

Any suggestions on a way to repair it?

@andresperezg - It maybe best to find someone with Mac circuit level repair skills. This will require access to the schematics and board views to trace out the logic to see which MOSFETs are damaged.
