After Bios update GPU is no longer working, is there a fix?

After a BIOS update the GPU was never able to work again, no bios downgrade, or flashing has helped, this seems to be a widely know issue, only switching discrete graphics in BIOS will allow the laptop to run, otherwise it's all artifacts and crashes.

Has there been an official, or unofficial way to return this computer into more then a glorified calculator?
